Dear Members,

We continue to receive correspondence from different agencies with resources for businesses and other community resources. Today we add to the list we sent last week, putting the newest resources at the top of the list.

As of today (March 26), here are short explanations and links to information we have received from multiple sources that may be helpful to you:

Florida Chamber COVID-19 Call with Governor DeSantis On March 30 at 2 pm, there will be a conference call between the Florida Chamber and Governor DeSantis. Space is limited.

Need help or know someone who does? 2-1-1 is a FREE service provided by United Way that connects area residents to critical health and social service resources when they need help. From help with a household bill, food assistance, or counseling for suicide prevention, calling 2-1-1 or visiting their website which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year-round.

Briefing with SBA Administrator, Office of Disaster Assistance, & SBR CEO Roundtable A Limited Access SBA Disaster Assistance Webinar is taking place Friday, March 26 at 2 pm – this will be a live web event with SBA Administrator Jovita Carranza on COVID-19’s economic impacts and the SBA’s targeted relief efforts for the nation’s small businesses. Only 3,000 attendees allowed nationwide.

The Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program is currently available to small business owners located in all Florida counties statewide that experienced economic damage as a result of COVID-19.

The Small Business Administration (SBA) is providing Disaster Assistance Loans for small businesses impacted by Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Governor Ron DeSantis has activated the Business Damage Assessment Survey to assess the impact of COVID-19 on Florida’s local business operations.

If Floridians’ employment has been negatively impacted because of mitigation efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, these Floridians may be eligible to receive Reemployment Assistance.

Ribbon Cutting Policy

DCBA ribbon cuttings are available to Chamber Members Monday – Thursday between the hours of 11 AM – 5 PM and MUST be confirmed and approved in advance by the Dunnellon Chamber & Business Association, so, that we may cerify the availability of the Dunnellon Chamber officials and the materials for the event.

Saturday or Sunday Ribbon cuttings are not available currently due to staffing constraints.

Please be sure to send all information pertaining to the ribbon cutting to the Chamber at least 3 weeks in advance of your scheduled ribbon cutting.  So, that there will be enough time for social media postings and email blasts.

Investing in the Chamber

There are many opportunities for your business to make a difference in Dunnellon, FL.  Consider donating to one of our scholarships or lend a hand in helping us make improvements.

Scholarships
Business Membership – Give the gift of membership to another business. $150 annually.
 Civic Membership – Give the gift if civic membership to a non-profit. $60 annually.
Individual Membership – Give the gift of an individual membership to another person. $30 annually.

Lend a Hand
Business Recovery Fund.  You may donate any amount to help an local business after an emergency.  This donation can be made at any time and will be disbursed after an emergency occurs.
Builder’s Club.  You may donate any amount to help the Chamber with repairs of its building.
